Age Calculator Between Two Dates: Find Your Exact Age in Years, Months and Days
Short answer: Pick any two dates and this tool tells you how far apart they are, read as an age in years, months and days. Put in your birthday, choose the date you want to count to, and press "Calculate Age". Take someone born on 15 June 1990: on 5 November 2026 they are 36 years, 4 months and 20 days old.
What is an age calculator between two dates?
It is a small tool that works out the gap between two dates on the calendar and expresses it as an age. Rather than stopping at whole years, it splits the gap into years, months and days, then shows the same stretch again as total months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds. People use it to check how old they are today, how old they were on some date in the past, or how old they will be when a future date arrives.
How to calculate your age between two dates in 3 steps
- Open the free Age Calculator on Bsks and pick your date of birth. Under "Your date of birth" there are dropdowns for the year, month and day — choose all three.
- Next, set the date you are counting to. Under "Date From" there are Year, Month and Day dropdowns of their own. They already show today, so if you want your age right now, leave them exactly as they are.
- Click "Calculate Age". Your exact age appears at once in years, months and days, with the totals in months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds underneath.
Worked example
I typed in 15 June 1990 as the date of birth and 5 November 2026 as the date to count to. The answer came back as 36 years, 4 months and 20 days — 13,292 days in total, or 319,008 hours, or 19,140,480 minutes.
Practical tips
- Put in the full date of birth, year, month and day. Without the day, the answer is only a rough figure rounded to whole years.
- When you want your age today, leave "Date From" on today. Touch it only when you need your age on one particular date in the past or the future.
- Use the "Print" button on the result for a paper copy, or "Copy to Clipboard" to drop the result into a form or a message.
- Watch out for leap-year birthdays. If you were born on 29 February, type in that exact date and let the calculator sort out the calendar maths rather than guessing it yourself.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate my age between two dates?
Put your date of birth into the Year, Month and Day dropdowns, set the date you want to count to under "Date From", then click "Calculate Age". It reads back your exact age in years, months and days.
Can I find my age on a future date?
Yes. Set "Date From" to the date in question — your next birthday, say — and the calculator tells you how old you will be when that day comes.
Why does the calculator also show my age in days, hours and seconds?
Those numbers are the same stretch of time counted in smaller pieces. The headline answer is years, months and days; the totals in days, hours, minutes and seconds come in handy when a form or a record asks for a precise figure.
